Education University of Indonesia was established on October 20, 1954 in Bandung, was inaugurated by the Minister of Education Teaching Mr. Muhammad Yamin. To strengthen the procurement system of teachers and education personnel, a variety of courses that exist at that time, namely teacher education BI and B II, integrated into the Guidance and Counseling through the Decree of the Minister of Education and Culture No. 6 of 1961.
